Setlist Builder with Timing

“Know what you are playing and when the night ends.”

How to use

Quick start: Setlist Builder with Timing

  1. Create a named setlist for the show or rehearsal, then enter the start time. Use a name that distinguishes the date or venue from an earlier version.
  2. Add each song with its key, tempo, duration and notes. Time a rehearsal performance when possible; a studio recording may be shorter than the live arrangement.
  3. Add breaks explicitly and use the up and down controls to arrange the running order. Read the resulting timeline to check that the whole set fits the available slot.
  4. Print the finished running order or export the plain-text version. Review the exact copy with the band, including count-ins, instrument changes and the final song.

Questions

How should I allow for talking and tuning?
Include realistic space in your durations or add a labeled break. A set of ten four-minute songs takes longer than forty minutes when introductions, tuning and changes are included. Rehearse the transitions and adjust the plan from that timing.
Where are my setlists saved?
They are stored in this browser on this device. Export a text copy before clearing site data or switching devices. The exported running order is also useful for sharing one agreed version with collaborators.
